Fairies-Fairy Gardens

Fairy is defined by Britannica as : Fairy also spelled faerie or faery, is a mythical being of folklore and romance usually having magic powers and dwelling on earth in close relationship with humans. It can appear as a dwarf creature typically having green clothes and hair, living underground or in stone heaps and characteristically exercising powers to benevolent ends; as a diminutive sprite commonly in the shape of a delicate, beautiful, ageless winged woman dressed in diaphanous white clothing inhabiting fairyland but making usually well-intentioned intervention in personal human affairs; or as a tiny mischievous and protective creature generally associated with a household hearth.

Fairies Have Always Co Existed with Humansfairies have co existed with humans

Fairies have been around since the middle ages beginning in Europe. There are many forms of fairies in books, discussions, and movies. One fairy that comes to mind is Tinkerbell. She is a fairy that seemed to be a little mischievous as well as helpful. She seemed to get in a lot of trouble and it didn’t take much for that to happen. She would use her wand and a little fairy dust to accomplish her goals. She had a crush on a boy and she seemed to not like girls. As she got older she seemed to be more helpful and very knowledgeable about different things. She even gained more magic over the years.

Then there is the Fairy Godmother. She seems to be very magical and helpful as well. She shows up when a young maiden is very distraught and wants to go to a Ball that is put on by a Prince. Being a maiden she has nothing to wear; suddenly there appears the woman known as the Fairy Godmother and this fairy wants to help. Of course, it is all started with a little fairy magic and a little bit of belief. Suddenly, there is a new dress to wear and a couple of mice that become coachmen. Magically, they are all taken by a coach that is made from a pumpkin. Now the fairy Godmother appears to be human or at least the same size of a human. These are just a couple of examples as to the coexistence of fairies and humans. There are some fairies that are very mean and really have given people a different kind of perspective as the Fairies from Ireland, It seems that no matter where you go throughout the world there is some kind of being that is considered to be a fairy.

Therefore, since Fairies have been coexisting with humans for a while now it appears that these fairies might need a place to live therefore that is where the Fairy Gardens come in.
